Important Key Points:
Crusoe receives another warning from his friend’s father that he should not go out to sea.
He realizes that he is like all young people: “not ashamed to sin, and yet are ashamed to repent . . .” He decides he can’t go home!
He takes another ship headed to Africa, and he makes money on this trip.
Leaving 200 pounds with his friend’s widow, Crusoe heads back to sea.
Moorish pirates attack the ship. Eight men are wounded, three are killed, and the rest become prisoners.
Crusoe becomes the captain’s slave, but he is always thinking about getting free.
